Gourmet?
We choose the highest quality coffee beans available on the open market. That's right, coffee is traded as a commodity, just like gold! We roast the beans in small batches, until they have reached perfection. Then they are shipped directly to you. You are assured that the beans arrive in peak freshness for you to grind, brew and savor.
Do the beans vary by region?
All coffees vary region to region, farm to farm and crop to crop, but in general: Latin American Coffees have medium acidity giving them a traditional character. African Coffees have higher acidity and intense flavors giving them a wine like crispiness or tang. Pacific Island Coffees have lower acidity, making them smooth and full-body.
We typically have beans on hand from Indonesia, East Timor, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Sumatra, and New Guinea.
